Konbit Projet Cavaillon Haïti Canada ( KPCHC)

Konbit pwojè Kavayon Ayiti Kanada (KPKAK)
est un organisme à but non lucratif créé par des amis (es ) de Cavaillon et des Cavaillonnais et Cavaillonnaises d’origine au lendemain du tremblement de terre du 14 août 2021 qui a détruit le grand Sud et 90 % des bâtiments de la ville de Cavaillon.
L’organisme est enregistré au Registre des entreprises du Québec le 6 juin 2023 au Numéro d’Entreprise du Québec (NEQ) 1178801180.
Depuis près de deux ans un groupe de bénévoles travaille d’arrache-pied, avec le soutien du curé de Cavaillon et de l’évêché des Cayes, à mettre sur pied cette organisation . Avec les maigres ressources et dons de particuliers ils ont réussi à maintenir les classes ouvertes sous des baraquements, à déblayer le terrain, à retrouver les papiers légaux de l’acquisition du terrain par la paroisse en 1920, à payer pour la topographie du terrain, à trouver une firme d’architectes fiable et payer l’avant -projet sommaire (APS) qui nous permettra de reconstruire l’école suivant les normes parasismiques et anticycloniques.
Il nous reste maintenant à trouver la somme de 980 000 $ US (estimée) pour la construction.

is a non-profit organization created by friends of and people from Cavaillon in the aftermath of the earthquake of August 14, 2021, which destroyed the Great South and 90% of the buildings of the city of Cavaillon.
The organization is registered in the Registre des entreprises du Québec (Canada) on June 6, 2023 at Numéro d’Entreprise du Québec (NEQ) 1178801180.
For nearly two years, a group of volunteers has been working tirelessly, with the support of the parish priest of Cavaillon and the bishopric of Les Cayes, to set up this organization. With meagre resources and donations from individuals, they managed to keep the classrooms open under barracks, to clear the land, to find the legal papers of the acquisition of the land by the parish in 1920, to pay for the topography of the land, to find a reliable architectural firm and to pay for the preliminary design which will allow us to rebuild the school according to seismic and anticyclonic standards.
We now must find the estimated USD $980,000 for construction.
